About the 2014 vintage: flowering was remarkable, rapid, and efficient, but veraison did not follow in its footsteps, marked by an often gray and stormy summer. Fortunately, the final twist was perfectly punctuated by the sun, the heat, and the light! The Cabernet Sauvignons reached the level of a very great vintage: growth of the berries stopped after the summer rains and a lengthening of the maturation cycle enabled them to make the most of the off-season with its summer scent. The great Merlots of the plateau, integrated into smaller quantities than usual, brought a very nice complementarity to the blend thanks to their roundness and their aromatic richness. Vinification: in wooden vats Ageing: 18 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which are new barrels.
